INNOVATIVE MACHINING PROCESSES

Assembly

PEP assembly of multiple components into clients electro-mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic assemblies is preceded by

(1) comprehensive review and assimilation of specifications, BOM, product form-fit-function,

(2) PEP creation of kits and proposal of phantom numbers to reduce lead time,

(3) development of innovative methods and fixtures to reduce assembly costs,

(4) design and proposal of test equipment for assembly.

In addition to precision machining of complex shaped components with rigid linear tolerance and GD7T callouts, with our subsidiaries, PEP provides the following products and services.

Supplied with performance and/or function specifications, test requirements, space restraints, EAU and environmental regulations, PEP has designed, built, tested and shipped the following equipment, including software, to clients.

EARLY SUPPLIER INVOLVEMENT (ESI)

PEP participation and demonstrated results in ESI, has assured timely launch of new product development with seamless progression from prototype, pre-production, and production ramp-up including inventory management. We encourage clients to solicit PEP participation in ESI.

PROTO-TYPING

PEP’s attribute to assimilate product form-fit-function specifications and expertise in manufacturing and inspection assures proto-type samples are in full compliance and circumvent delays in new product development. PEP currently in the development stage for 3D metal printing.

INSPECTION

PEP creates “Master Inspection Instructions” for each part that specifies instructions for each inspection point.

Our calibration system is maintained in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005. All inspections; dimensional, hardness, surface texture, roundness, concentricity, parallelism, and true position, are conducted using attribute and variable metrology, CMM, Optical, Magnetic Particle, Fluorescent Penetrant, Radiographic, Spectrometer, X-ray, in climate controlled area by qualified and audited personnel.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

PEP R&D is fully staffed to participate in design, manufacture, assembly, inspection and testing of new products, including reverse engineering. PEP participation in ESI programs with demonstrated results is testimony of our capability.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

PEP Project Management Team includes Management, Sales, Engineering, Quality and Materials with demonstrated skills, offer strong capabilities in Project Management that assure milestones are attained, products exceed quality specifications through Project Manager’s consistent open line communication and interface, monitor, and reports with clients.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

PEP ERP system integrates data and processes functions of Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, Purchasing, Finance, Engineering, Production, Inventory Control, and Human Resource to ensure responsiveness to customer spikes, to realign plans to consistently meet the timely delivery of quality products that involves the movement and storage of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods from point of origin to point of consumption. PEP invites clients to discuss Kanban, VMI or other programs.

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

PEP has a dedicated and the diverse supply chain that supports delivery of products to satisfied clients. Innovating manufacturing processes to machine complex components, creating phantom numbers for kits in the assembly of mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies and supply chain logistics for a wide range of specialty subcontract processes are PEP core strengths.
